ASM Attends UN General AssemblyASM President, Susan Sharp, Ph.D., joined global leaders at the United Nations General Assembly in New York today in a historical meeting to focus on the commitment to fight AMR.
The Program offers an annual stipend up to $46,106. Up to $3,000 annually is available for health care. Fellows are classified as fellows and are not employees of either CDC or ASM.
Up to $2,000 in additional monies is available annually for professional development for each fellow. These funds may be used for membership in professional societies, subscriptions to pertinent publications, costs for publishing in scientific journals, and travel to scientific meetings, conferences, and short training programs. Fellows are encouraged to publish in the scientific literature and to present findings at scientific meetings. Relocation funds must be paid by the fellows from their stipends and are not reimbursable from ASM or CDC. (Award amounts may change without notice.
