AAM Fellows Elected to NAS

The AAM congratulations Seth Darst of Rockefeller University, Edward DeLong of MIT, Michael Oldstone of the Scripps Research Institute, Carol Prives of Columbia University, and Jasper Rine of University of California, Berkeley, on their election to the National Academy of Sciences

Joan Steitz of Yale University and Elizabeth Blackburn of the University of California, San Francisco, are the first women to win the Albany Medical Center Prize in Medicine and Biomedical Research.
 

 
The ASM is pleased to announce the establishment of the Maurice Hilleman/Merck Award. The inaugural scientific achievement award will be presented at the 2009 ASM General Meeting. Nominations are due October 1, 2008.

Applications are currently being accepted for the ABMLI exam which will be administered daily during the month of August at testing centers worldwide.
Application deadline: June 1.
