ASM offers a variety of Professional Development opportunities for those new to the field, as well as seasoned members of the microbiology community.  In addition to the annual meetings, ASM offers pre-meeting workshops, teleconferences, webinars and other on-line professional development activities.  Other options include certification programs that are valuable components in professional advancement and liscensure.
