The 2008 Pasteur Award winner is:

Geraldine Susan Hall, Ph.D.

Clinical Microbiology Laboratory

Cleveland Clinic Foundation

Dr. Hall has worked in the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation for

more than 30 years. Currently, she is Staff Microbiologist, Medical Director of the Cleveland

Clinic Medical Technology School, and Professor of Pathology in the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University. Gerri is a scientist and renowned leader in her field but, above all, she is an educator. Her lectures, workshops, teleconferences and classes have educated tens of thousands of microbiologists. She is a tireless organizer, committee member and leader. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Gerri is a dedicated mother and spouse, and a caring daughter.

We at ISM, and her invited colleagues from around the country, are honored to recognize Dr. Hall as our Pasteur Award winner.
