made significant contributions to the field of microbiology.
 
 

ABOUT THE ISM
The Illinois Society for Microbiology (ISM) is a Branch of the American Society for Microbiology. Each year, ISM sponsors two scientific seminars and a variety of  “hands-on” technical workshops. The ISM Newsletter is published three times per year. ISM also provides judges and awards for school district science fairs. Involvement in ISM is an excellent means to enhance your career. A two-year ISM membership costs $30.
