Milestones in Microbiology Sites

Just Announced -

ASM has selected the Marine Biological Laboratory (MBL) Microbial Diversity Course in Woods Hole, MA as its next Milestones in Microbiology Site.  Site Dedication is scheduled for Saturday, June 22, 2013.

Please check back for further updates in the next few weeks, or contact the ASM Archivist for information.

The ASM Milestones in Microbiology program, administered by the Milestones in Microbiology Committee, a sub-committee of the Center for the History of Microbiology/ASM Archives Committee and the ASM Communications Committee, recognizes institutions and the scientists who worked there that have made significant contributions toward advancing the science of microbiology.  By placing explanatory plaques at these sites, ASM hopes to increase professional and public recognition of the significance of the science of microbiology.  For more information on the program, click here to consult the program guidelines or contact Jeff Karr, ASM Archivist at jkarr@asmusa.org
