ASM recently posted its revised Statement on the Scientific Basis for Evolution, on the ASM website. The statement was revised after ASM Council input on May 24, 2006 and subsequent review.
ASM Biodefense and Emerging Diseases Research Meeting
The 5th ASM Biodefense and Emerging Diseases Research Meeting is scheduled for February 27 - March 2, 2007 in Washington, DC. Abstract submission is open until November 16 and registration for the meeting will begin in November.
