To Renew by Invoice
Members wishing to renew by invoice can generate an invoice by clicking here, completing the requested fields, and selecting "Offline Payment Methods" when you get to your order summary page. A proforma invoice will be produced, which you can then print and send in with your payment by fax to (202) 942-9346 or mail it to ASM at: Member and Customer Service Unit, 1752 N Street, NW, Washington, DC 20036.
Emeritus Members
Emeritus Members are now able to renew their membership online by clicking here. If you do not already have an account at the ASM eStore, you must create an account using the email address that is in your member profile. If your email address has changed, please contact the Member and Customer Service Unit to update your account prior to accessing your Emeritus renewal form. Emeritus members may purchase journal subscriptions and subscription to a print version of Microbe at member rates by clicking the selected title(s) to include in your cart and paying the associated fee.
Cancellation Policy
Once the membership fee has been paid in any member year, no ASM member may cancel his/her membership; only journal subscriptions may be cancelled. All journal cancellation requests must be received in writing. Verbal subscription cancellations are not acceptable. Members will receive a pro-rated journal refund. Cancellation of an online journal entails denial of access to previously accessible issues. Refunds will not be issued to US and Canadian members unless the refund amount is more than $5. Refunds will not be issued to international members unless the refund amount is more than $20.
