Student and Postdoc asm 2013 Activities

Student & Postdoc Lounge
Room 703 Colorado Convention Center
Open Sunday - Tuesday from 7:00 - 4:00 daily

Stop by in between sessions to get a snack, chat with a mentor, or catch up with friends.

  • asm2013 Orientation. The orientation session will begin promptly at 7:30 am on Sunday, May 19th (with a repeat session at 10:00 am) and will last about 15 minutes. A light breakfast will be served. Learn about how to navigate the meeting and how to dissect the program to ensure you don't miss anything. (Room 703)
  • In-Lounge Advisors.  Over 40 advisors, representing clinical, academic, industrial, and government careers, will be available in the Lounge to meet with you and answer any questions you have about their field, work and more.

  • Lunch sessions. The interactive lunch sessions will be held Sunday through Tuesday, with each day focused on a specific career topic. One mentor for that day's field will be available at each table to discuss their experience and answer your questions. Sandwiches will be provided, but you'll need to bring your own drink. Welcome to asm2013! Before the meeting is underway, I want to point out a few items of specific interest to Students and Postdocs.

  • Student and Postdoc Lounge will be located in Room 703 of the Colorado Convention Center. It will be open Sunday through Tuesday from 7 am - 4pm. Stop by in between sessions to get a snack, chat with a mentor, or catch up with friends.
