How to Apply for a Position in a CPEP-Approved Postgraduate Fellowship Program

To apply for a position in a postgraduate fellowship program, the applicant must have a doctoral degree (Ph.D., M.D., Sc.D., D.O., Dr. P.H., etc.) with graduate education in microbiology or immunology.

Non-U.S. citizens are eligible to apply to some programs; check the programs' descriptions for their eligibility requirements.

Applicants should submit the on-line application to programs of interest to them. Descriptions of the programs are available and a list of programs is provided at the bottom of the application form. The programs will acknowledge receipt of the application and request additional information from the applicant if interested. In some instances, a secondary application from the program may need to be completed. Upon review of the applicant's credentials, the program may request an interview. Applicants must travel to the program at their own expense to be interviewed by the program director and principal staff members.
