ASM International Affairs Assistant Director Dr. Celestin Hakiruwizera attended the Stop TB Partnership's 4th Annual Global Laboratory Initiative meeting on the implementation of multidrug resistant tuberculosis (MTB) diagnostics, 17-19 April 2012, in Annecy, France. ASM is an early implementer of the new rapid MTB diagnostics. In the coming months, ASM continues to implement the new technologies in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Cote d'Ivoire, Haiti, and Nigeria.
