The U.S. recipient of the 2012 Heatley-Payne Exchange Program for Early Career Scientists, Dr. Joseph Hyser, Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, TX, will present his winning abstract, Rotavirus NSP4 Viroporin Activity in the Endoplasmic Reticulum Releases Calcium Stores and Elevates Cytoplasmic Calcium, at the Spring Conference of the UK’s Society for General Microbiology (SGM) in Dublin, Ireland on Wednesday, March 28 at 2pm (14:00) local time during the Virology Workshop: RNA Viruses.
In addition to presenting at the SGM Spring Conference, Dr. Hyser will visit the lab of Dr. Stephen Griffin and Dr. Richard Foster at the Leeds Institute of Molecular Medicine, University of Leeds, England, UK through the Heatley-Payne Exchange Program for Early Career Scientists.
