My work includes both programmatic design and review and facility construction oversight. I with epidemiologists, veterinarians, medical doctors and medical researchers to develop a “One Health” system for low-resource countries - an approach that looks at ecological, veterinary and public health factors involved in disease outbreaks and attempts to integrate biosafety and biosecurity across the chain of infection in order to prevent disease.
