ASM Election Results


The following are the 2016 – 2018 national officers.  All terms begin July 1, 2016.

Susan E. Sharp, Kaiser Permanente Northwest in Portland, OR, is the new president of ASM for a 1-year term.

Peggy Cotter, University of North Carolina School of Medicine Chapel Hill, NC, is the new president-elect of ASM for a 1-year term.

Timothy J. Donohue, University of Wisconsin, Madison, has been elected as secretary of ASM for his first term.

James Tiedje, Michigan State University, East Lansing, has been elected as treasurer of ASM for his ninth term.

Marylynn Yates, University of California, Riverside, has been elected treasurer-elect of ASM.
