ASM Conference Student Travel Grant
$500 travel support for students to students presenting at an ASM Conference. Please see the individual conference pages for details.
ICAAC Student and Post Doctoral Fellow Travel Grant Award
$500 travel support for presenting a poster at the annual ICAAC. Preference is given to students who have not received a travel grant in the past two years, and the Committee strives to award only one travel grant per laboratory.
Millis-Colwell Postgraduate Travel Grant
This collaboration between the American Society for Microbiology (ASM USA) and the Australian Society for Microbiology (ASM Australia) allows for the exchange of one student member from each society to present an abstract at the annual General Meeting of the other society and to spend a week at nearby research laboratory.

ASM Undergraduate Research Fellowship (ASM-URF)
A 10-12 week summer program for students to conduct microbiology-related research with an ASM member at the student's undergraduate institution - requires joint application from student and faculty sponsor.
ASM-Microbiology Undergraduate Research Fellowship (ASM-MURF)
A 10-12 week summer program for students from underrepresented and historically excluded groups to conduct microbiology-related research with an ASM member at a sponsoring U.S. institution.
ASM Undergraduate Teaching Fellowship (ASM-UTF)
A minimum of 4 weeks (150 hour) instructional project for students to work with ASM faculty mentors at the students home institutions and field site mentors – requires a joint application from the student, faculty co-mentor, and field site co-mentor.
