- International Travel Grants
ASM members, who have received their PhDs within the past 5 years, are eligible to apply for travel grants to attend the annual scientific meetings of foreign societies for microbiology where they will present their abstracts and spend time at a nearby laboratory performing research.
- General Meeting Student Travel Grants
ASM members who are undergraduate or gradutate students and PhDs or MDs who recently completed their dissertation are eligible to request consideration for a travel grant if they have submitted an abstract for consideration at the General Meeting.
