Overview |
General InformationSince the first ASM Conference on Candida and Candidiasis, the only one devoted to this topic, interest in Candida and candidiasis has increased as a result of the impact of candidiasis on human health. The goals for this current conference are to bring together researchers working on all aspects of the biology of C. albicans for a forum to discuss the present state of their research. You are invited to submit abstracts for consideration for poster presentation at the conference. The deadline for receipt of abstracts by ASM is Friday, October 12, 2001. The Organizing Committee plans to select some abstracts for short oral presentations to highlight research of students and junior investigators. When prompted in the on-line abstract submission, please identify whether the presenter is a student or post-doc in order to be considered for one of these oral presentations. (Students and post-docs will have the option to not present orally if you are initially selected by the Committee.) Abstract submission is now open!!! Online
