All session rooms in the Washington Convention Center will be networked to a server in the Speaker Ready Room. In addition, each session room will be set up with a networked PC computer and LCD projector. The computer will have on it the latest edition of Microsoft's PowerPoint™ presentation software. We recognize that other presentation programs are in use but we also have to acknowledge that the single major program is PowerPoint™. Therefore, it is requested that all speakers use PowerPoint™ to prepare their presentations.

According to information provided in the help pages of PowerPoint™ 2000, PowerPoint will be able to convert Harvard Graphics and Lotus Freelance developed presentations. Other software packages may be importable but, after conversion may need additional work to ensure complete fidelity. To ensure that your system is compatible, please contact Technical Support.

Even if you are an experienced presenter, please take a moment to read the following information completely. If you have technical questions after you have finished please contact Technical Support. For general questions, please contact avinfo@asmusa.org.

These guidelines have been established by AVW-TELAV to help ensure the success of your presentation.
