Delivering Your Presentation to the Speaker Ready Room
Plan on delivering your presentation to the Speaker Ready Room the day before your scheduled talk. This will allow you the time to upload the presentation from your CD-ROM or Zip Disk to the server, test the presentation on comparable equipment, and get your questions answered as required. If you have more than one presentation to give at the meeting, you may bring them all at the same time. The technicians will have session information and will be able to place your presentations in the proper session folders on the server.
When you arrive at the speaker ready room have your picture ID handy and label your media with the following information.

1. Click Start, and then click Run. 2. In the Open box, type the appropriate command for your operating system. 3. In Microsoft Windows 98 or Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (Me), type: mplayer.exe 4. In Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 or Microsoft Windows 2000/XP, type: mplay32.exe 5. Click OK. Media Player is started. 6. On the File menu, click Open. 7. Select the movie that you want to verify. Click Open. The video will play, if it is the correct format.
IMPORTANT: Please be observant of the size of your video files. A video file can be just as effective at a lower resolution. |
