- ASM CE Portal
The ASM CE Portal is a centralized location for all continuing education activities. Claim credit, print your certificate participate in free educational activities, Browse a library of available educational activities, and track your activities on your own personalized transcript.
ASM is accredited to provide P.A.C.E.®-approved continuing education (CEs) credits for its clinical laboratory professional development activities. P.A.C.E.®, professional acknowledgement for continuing education, was created in 1977. It is sponsored by the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science and was designed specifically for clinical laboratory professionals.

- Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)
The France Foundation will award continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credit for participation in select activities and assign a Universal Program Number to each activity designated for CPE. Statements of Credit will be based on participation. ASM complies with the ACPE Standards for Continuing Pharmacy Education.
Due to accreditation restrictions, all programs will not be available for Continuing Pharmacy Education Credit.
All ASM meeting attendees claiming continuing pharmacy education (CPE) credit must first register with CPE Monitor. CPE Monitor is a national, collaborative effort by Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education and the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy (NABP) to provide an electronic system for pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to track their completed continuing pharmacy education credits.
All attendees claiming CPE credit must enter their NABP e-Profile ID and date of birth prior to claiming CPE credit through the American Society for Microbiology’s CE Portal. It is the responsibility of the pharmacist to provide the correct information [i.e. ID and DOB (in MMDD format)] in order to receive credit.

Physicians and Microbiologists
The France Foundation is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The American Medical Association (AMA) has determined that physicians not licensed in the U.S. who participate in this CME activity are eligible for AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
Diplomates of the American Board of Medical Microbiology, Diplomates of the American Board of Medical Laboratory Immunology, and Registrants of the National Registry of Certified Microbiologists may earn AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ toward re-certification. Each professional should claim credit commensurate with their level of participation in the activity.
