jenal urs Dr. Jenal and his laboratory focus on signal transduction processes involving the ubiquitous bacterial second messenger cyclic di-GMP. Using several bacterial model organisms, he strives to develop the molecular, structural, and cellular principles of c-di-GMP signaling and its impact on cell propagation, cell differentiation, and bacterial persistence.
