Please note: If you will be claiming Continuing Medical Education (AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™) for the 2018 ASM Clinical Virology Symposium, an administrative fee of $50 will be required at the time of registration. This fee is applicable ONLY to Continuing Medical Education (AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™) and does not apply to other forms of continuing education credits offered by ASM (e.g. P.A.C.E.®). 

Cancellation Policy 

All cancellations must be in writing and must be emailed or postmarked by Thursday, March 29, 2018

  • On or prior to Thursday, March 8, 2018: You will receive a full refund minus a $25 processing fee. 
  • Beginning Friday, March 9, 2018: You will receive a refund of 50% of the registration fee. 
  • Beginning March 30, 2018: NO REFUNDS WILL BE PROCESSED. 

No refunds will be granted for requests submitted after Thursday, March 29, 2018. 

Substitution Policy 

Substitution of registration is permitted prior to the workshop/symposum and on site. Only one substitution is permitted per original registrant. The individual submitting the substitution is responsible for all financial obligations (any balance due) associated witht hat substitution as well as updating any contact information. Registration name badges are no transferable between participants on on site.

All registered attendees must stop by the registration counter to receive a meeting badge and other registration materials. No materials will be mailed prior to the conference. The registration counter will be open during the following times:

7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. 

Monday, May 7
7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. 

Tuesday, May 8
7:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. 

Wednesday, May 9
8:00 a.m. – 11:45 a.m. 

All attendees are required to wear badges on site at all times. Badges give you access to sessions, poster, social event, and official symposium meals.
