ASM Microbe 2017 offers all of the quality programming of the General Meeting and ICAAC, plus more! Covering the same science and topics seen at the traditional General Meeting and ICAAC, ASM Microbe also provides targeted trans-disciplinary sessions, a special Profession of Microbiology track, an expanded poster hall, topic-based networking opportunities, track-specific lounges, and a broader range of products and services in the integrated Exhibit and Poster Hall. Online Program Planner

The ASM Microbe 2017 Online Program Planner is now available! Visit the site to search through hundreds of scientific sessions being offered at the meeting. You also are invited to create an itinerary that you can save and modify for later use. 

Session Types

Scientific and professional development sessions will be offered in a variety of formats, including more formal symposia and meet-the-experts, and less formal track hub sessions. View the list of session types. Please note: Most symposia will feature three invited speakers, with time allocated for Q&A, discussion, and oral abstract presentations. 

Also available are a description of the various courses and workshops offered prior to the start of ASM Microbe 2017.
